Who We AreThe Utah-Qinghai Ecopartnership, a non-profit organization, is currently the only State-Province partnership recognized by both the U.S. and China in existence. Admitted to the U.S.-China Ecopartnership program on may 10th 2011, at a signing event in Washington D.C. under the direction of Secretary Clinton and with Utah Congressman Bishop in attendance, the Utah-Qinghai ecopartnership aims to be a model for U.S.-China subnational cooperation and put Utah in the lead in clean energy and technology. Their main efforts involve the transfer of green technology between the U.S. and China, promoting IP protection, and building relationships.
